The short version
- The try-on camera runs on the shopper’s own device. Camera frames are not uploaded.

Shoppers using try-on
Try-on reads the front camera inside the browser, on the shopper’s phone, to place makeup on the live image and suggest a starting shade. The camera image is processed on that device and is not sent to us. On this website, the sample store keeps its bag, looks and answers in the browser’s own storage on that device.
When a brand runs MadeMirror on its store, the after-delivery shade answers (for example “looked right” or “too deep”) are tied to the product and shade sold, and shown to that brand in aggregate. They never include face images. The brand’s own privacy notice also applies to its store.
Brands buying a plan
At checkout, Stripe collects your card details, billing address, email and phone number, plus your company name and, optionally, your website. Stripe shares with us what we need to run your plan and contact you: the contact, billing and company details and the plan you bought. We never see your full card number.
We use these details to provide the service, send invoices, book the kickoff call and keep the records that tax law requires.
Booking a call
When you book a call, we keep the name, company, email and, if you add them, the WhatsApp number and website you enter, to hold the time and send you the meeting link. We delete them within 12 months unless you become a customer.
Service providers
- Stripe processes payments and invoices.
- Vercel hosts this website and keeps standard server logs.
- Supabase stores brand accounts, catalogs, aggregate try-on numbers and call bookings, in a private database.
- WhatsApp is used if you choose to message us there.
Keeping and deleting data
We keep brand account and billing records for as long as you are a customer and afterwards for as long as the law requires. You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, subject to those legal requirements.
Cookies
This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout page to process payments securely and prevent fraud.
